Had jury-rig a flotation device for the patient as injuries prevented us from getting them into a boat. Once to shore we loaded onto a long board and then transported to the nearest hospital 25 miles away.
Im one of those who will die at their desk. Im 62 and between lack of funds and needing my company-provided health care, I will most likely die at my desk. In fact, 2 months ago, a co-worker did just that. So, someday I will be found clutching my mouse and slumped over the keyboard. I have warned those close to my desk to expect to find a cold corpse in my cubicle. Corpse being me.
