@evanstapler: Because if we want to play console games, we must be stupid teens with low standards. Believe it or not, some people are perfectly happy to play the same game on a console attached to a nice tv, while not having to worry about hardware configurations. Maybe it is just slackness on my part, but I can think of many ways I would rather spend my time when confronted with the annoyances of building a gaming pc. Hopefully as these "teens" playing their dumbed down console games will not grow up with the same pathetic superiority complex many pc gamers such as yourself have. Seriously, pc gaming elitism is worse than having to sit through a bunch of those "I'm a mac" ads! If future call of duty games were not to come out on pc, I would be happy if only because it would mean I would not longer have to hear from people such as yourself..
I see your point, and it's valid, but you do know that not ALL games that come out for PC are released for PS3 or any other console. And, some games that do come out for both wind up being much better on the PC (read: Dragon Age Origins as a recent example).!

@macParrot and philbert I live in the northeast USA at the moment, so everyone is pretty rich here. Most of them just buy apple computers because they have the money to do so and they need another fancy thing to put in their fancy home. and yes macParrort was right about the students, at my school if you ask anyone its probably more like 60% pc 40% mac, but it's close. I was just interested in the fact that NO ONE out of the french students had anything good to say about apple. |
